About the Role

We are seeking a new member of our Play Team, ideally with experience of OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning), who can use their initiative to support the Headteacher in achieving our vision for outdoor play and positive pupil experiences.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Hardworking, calm, reliable and resilient
  • Experienced in behaviour management
  • Able to adapt in challenging situations
  • Experienced in developing outdoor play activities
  • Enthusiastic about supporting children’s wellbeing and development

The successful candidate will:

  • Actively encourage children to be creative through outdoor play and learning
  • Support positive behaviour in the dining hall and help develop healthy eating habits
  • Work effectively as part of a team, ensuring pupil health and safety is always the highest priority

Working Hours

The position is for 8.75 hours per week, term time only.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 1:45pm

Salary: Grade 3.5 £25,583 FTE (pay award pending)
